Without music, life would be a mistake, so they say. At the HanseKulturFestival, we transform the entire founding quarter into a stage. Live acts can be found in the middle of the streets, in churches and, of course, on various stages. Along the Untertrave, the sound of rock and pop fills the air, whereas classical ensembles are concentrated mainly near the theatre. Be enchanted by the unique sounds of street musicians and feel the various rhythms inspire your body to dance along on the market square. In short: mistakes aren’t possible!

Super music, super handmade, super lübsche, Superkunst! The Kulturakademie of the Diakonie Nord Nord Ost rocks the floating stage on the Untertrave and provides you with plenty of musical pearls. Here, you can expect to hear mostly Lübeck originals that are simply irreplicable.  The stage is managed and built solely by the dedicated employees of the Diakonie Nord Nord Ost, inclusion guaranteed.

On the corner of An der Untertrave and Alfstraße
A little further along the Trave, the Kulturakademie of the Diakonie Nord Nord Ost hosts another listening station. Here, you can relax under the trees at the outdoor catering area and listen to the tunes coming from the Wanderbühne. Don’t be fooled by the name though, the stage doesn’t actually wander.

A vibrant music line-up awaits you along the entire Untertrave Promenade. The motto here is the familiar and the new: well-known artists and bands play headliners, but newcomers also get the chance to introduce themselves, providing a diverse mix. From rock to pop, with some funk thrown in for good measure, and all musicians from Lübeck or the surrounding area – it’s going to be good!

Internationaler Orgelzyklus Johann Sebastian Bach (VI)„À la française“

The organ music of Johann Sebastian Bach can be experienced in a total of 14 concerts. This is the 6th concert in the series. Before the music begins, Christian Münch-Cordellier hosts a conversation with the organist Francois Espinasse.

Evensong – An Evening of Music in St. Mary’s

The Lübecker Knabenkantorei (Lübeck Boys’ Choir) is set to captivate the audience with an atmospheric choral concert. It’s the perfect opportunity to not only enjoy the music, but also admire the church’s beautiful nave.

What is more Lübscher than the market? It’s THE central meeting point in Lübeck’s Old Town and plays an essential part in the HanseKulturFestival. Against the picturesque backdrop of the historic town hall, enjoy a variety of melodies that you just can’t help but sing and dance along to. Surrounded by the Fair.Bio.Regional market, the next drink is never far away. If dancing isn’t your thing, then perhaps try your hand at arts and crafts, upcycling fashion or hands-on activities.
